Commissioning management

The variety and the importance of the aspects involved make the start-up a key service for the customer. Once again, our approach particularly distinguishes Led Italia from our competitors. In fact, in addition to the technical aspects and practical matters connected with the installation, there are many other terms specified in the contract to be met to satisfy the customer. These are:

  • Delivery time;
  • Shipping and transportation;
  • Job-site management;
  • Technicians safety;
  • Start-up and switch-on schedules;
  • Performances.

All the above activities are named as "Projects" and are handled through the project management system. Although this is a system more common for larger companies, Led Italia has introduced it to pursue best quality standards for its customers.

Pre-installation

During the pre-installation, Led Italia inspects the user's plant to find out if any modification is required to make the installation possible. These modifications are usually carried out by the customer.

  • Inspection at the user's site;
  • Drawing-up of the safety plan for the services to be carried out at the user's site;
  • Handling and supervision of shipments;
  • Checking the integrity of the equipment upon arrival.

Assembling and connection to power supply:

At the functional start-up stage, not only do we verify that the electromechanical functions of the machine are in order, but also that the contract specifications are met, through a correct set-up of the treatment process.

  • Positioning and assembling;
  • Connection to power supply and process network;
  • Electromechanical and hydraulic start-up.

Functional testing and on-site training :

Led Italia machines are simple and safe as to their design and materials. They are designed to run automatically, with a minimum level of supervision. Nevertheless, machine operators require some basic training to set the machine and carry out preventive maintenance.

  • Functional testing with tap water;
  • Start-up of the treatment process using customer waste liquids;
  • Setting of the treatment process to meet contract performance;
  • Training of machine operators to run and service the machine.
